PATNA: Villagers of Rasalpur panchayat in Begusarai district,200 kms west from here on Wednesday gave social sanction to Kajal,wife of Ajay Kumar to marry with her old lover,Rajkumar without getting judicial separation from her husband.
Ramsahar Sahni,sarpanch(village head) of Rasalpur said today,the villagers assembled following complaint by a section of the villages who objected to the woman marrying without divorcing her husband.He claimed the 24 year old husband,Ajay Kumar who had married Kajal(22) in 2018 himself allowed her remarriage without judicial separation.Family members of Ajay did not object to Kajal’s remarriage.Ajay had arranged marriage of Kajal with Rajkumar Thakur of Agahapur village nin a temple on Tuesday.
Ajay told the priests and village leaders he would take care of the two children born from his marriage with Kajal to have her freedom to enjoy her new life with her new partner.
Ajay alleged Kajal was in relationship withbRajkumar Thakur even before their marriage.On MOnday evening,the villagers had found Rajkumar and Kajal in a compromising position and complained to family of Ajay Kumar.
Kajal admitted her extra marital affair and declared she could not continue her life with Ajay any further.Than,her in-laws also decided to allow her freedom from her children and get her married to her old lover.Ajay told this paper over phone”She wanted freedom from us for a new innings with another person.We allowed her total freedom”.
