PATNA: In its bid to expand the base for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections,two regional parties of Bihar,Hindustan Awam Morcha headed by the former chief minister,Jeetan Ram Manjhi and Lok Janshakti Party (R)headed by Chirag Paswan have been invited by the BJP president,Jagat Prakash Nadda to attend the National Democratic Alliance meeting on July 18 in New Delhi.
Nadda sent invitation letters to both Manjhi and Chirag and described their parties as important partners of the NDA.Manjhi was in the Mahagathbandhan led by Bihar chief minister,Nitish Kumar till last month and his son,Santosh Manjhi was member in the cabinet.
Chirag’s father,Ram Vilas Paswan a minister in Narendra Modi led government.
Family dispute in the Paswans continued on Saturday as the union minister and president of LJP’s rival group,Pashupati Kumar Paras today claimed he would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Hajipur,the constituency represented by Ram Vilas Paswan since 1977.Chirag who is member of Lok Sabha from Jamui(reserved) seat too said he would contest from Hajipur,the seat held by his father.
Paras today alleged that due to the action of the Chirag party had split.Dal hi nahi tota,Dil bhi tuta(Not only the party was split,but even the hearts were broken).
