Patna ; The National Defence College, Delhi delegation of 16 officers visited 7 places in Danapur subdivision , Bihta block today to see the first hand information of the implementation of various developmental works undertaken by the Govt.
The team visited the following sites today:-
1 Upendra Maharathi Craft institute
2. MNREGA works of Boundary wall, plantation etc in Sadisopur Primary school
3. Simri Village Panchayat
4. Painathi Sub Primary Health Centre
5 BihtaPolice Station
6. Danapur Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya
7. Abhilasha Jeevika CLF, Dhibri Village.
It was heartening to interact with the students in general but girl students in particular. They were full of spark and hope and were motivated to continue their education. Mid day meal was being cooked in the school. Foreign officers also interacted with the students and had an enriching interaction with all. Telemedicine and Tele consultation by the Nursing officer was worth noticing in the Sub PHC. The fixed weekly schedule of officers from various departments to cater to the grievances of villagers in panchayat was also well appreciated. The day ended with an impactful presentation made by the Jeevika group. They were oozing with confidence , have been able to make an independent place for themselves in society and are the best example of real women empowerment. Their ground work on social causes like ban on alcohol and Swachh Bharat Mission also is noteworthy. SDO Danapur and ASP Danapur also accompanied the team .
