Patna; Prashant Kishore on Wednesday appointed a retired dalit diplomat,Manoj Kumar Bharti,IFS of 1988 batch as first president of the party.
Addressing a mammoth rally at Veterinary College grounds here,PK said Bharti had served as ambassadors in different countries,including Ukraine.The Election Commission of India has sent a letter recognising Jan Suraj Party as a political party.
Listing the agenda of the newly launched party,he said party is aimed at promoting and preserving Bihari identity( Ashmita)
Party would abolish prohibition when it comes to power. Highest allocation would be on education sector.
His party would contest assembly elections in all the 243 constituencies next year
Jan Suraj will contest by _ elections in all the four assembly seats scheduled for next month.
