Patna . Ms. Siriporn Tantipanyathep, Consul General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kolkata met DM, Patna today. She discussed close cultural ties between India and Thailand and rich Buddhist legacy of Bihar.
DM Dr Chandrashekhar Singh gave her a momento and detailed of works done by state government to spread core teachings of Lord Buddha. She later visited Buddha Smriti Park and offered prayers there. Consul General applauded facilities being provided like meditation courses at Vipassana Meditation Centre.
