PATNA:Bihar chief minister,Nitish Kumar on Saturday morning visited 10,Circular road bungalow of the RJD president,Lalu Prasad to further Mumbai phase of opposition unity against the BJP.

Nitish was called by Lalu within 24 hours of their return from Mumbai.They discussed the seat sharing arrangements for the Lok Sabha elections.In the existing Lok Sabha,16 members are from JDU,17 from BJP,six from both factions of LJP and one Congress.RJD has no presence in the Lower House.
According to the preliminary round of talks held between the two Bihar leaders in INDIA,both JDU and RJD will share 16 seats each and would allot the Congress ,three left parties,the remaining eight seats.Lalu will help the Congress in selecting its winnable nominees,according to the discussions held between the two leaders.
Lalu also told Nitish RJD would sacrifice its constituencies to accommodate JDU candidates.Focuss would be to field stronger candidates in the 17 constituencies retained by the BJP since 2019.
Nitish Kumar while talking to the media persons claimed INDIA partners will contest the elections unitedly in BIhar (humlog mil jul kar chunav ladenge).There would be no friendly contest between the alliance partners.
Chief MInister said in the future too,the partners would work together,have common election meetings and campaign.
He welcomed the move to have One Nation,One elections and claimed till 1967,this practice was followed in both the Lok Sabha elections and state assemblies elections which were held simultaneously.Nitish termed the move as Very Good(Bahut achcha).
When the government would introduce the Bill in the Parliament,a detailed discussion would be held.However,he termed the government move as a panic reaction to the opposition unity against the BJP.
