khunti : In 2014, then and the present Chief Minister Hemant Soren started and initiative called Kalyan Gurukul through which 40 students took training and got jobs in Suraj Buildcon.IIFL Wealth has also played a special role in this. Appointment letters were distributed among all 40 students in a special function at Kalyan Gurukul Khunti.As the chief guest of the program, Mr. Yatin Saha,

The students of Kalyan Gurukul, showing special interest in the program, asked questions related to health and wealth accumulation to Shri Yatin Saha.The youth of Gurukul expressed their gratitude towards Kalyan Gurukul by thanking Honorable Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren, Government of Jharkhand and IIFL Wealth.Sahdev Manjhi, a resident of Gumla, learnt about Kalyan Gurukul from the employment center of the government. Sahdev’s life changed after the training.Sahadev tells that, his father use to work as a laborer and he also had to work due to compulsion, but today he is working on a good income and will keep the family happy.The Government of Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren has committed to provide employment to the youth of Jharkhand. Necessary measures are being taken to prepare skilled human resource in the state.
More than 15000 youths have been employed.
Appointment letters were given today to 238 students of Kalyan Gurukul Khunti and Jamshedpur run by Pragya Foundation. These include 174 students from Scheduled Tribes, 7 from Scheduled Castes, 51 from OBC and 6 from minority communities.All these students have been placed in reputed companies like Shapoorji Palanji, Automotive Excel and Vilas Javedkar. All these students have received training in trades like fitters, weldors , carpenter ,plumber, apparels in Kalyan Gurukul.All these students have been placed in reputed companies like Shapoorji Palanji, Automotive Excel and Vilas Javedkar. All the students are arranged to receive training in trades like fitters, weldors , carpenter ,plumber, apparels in Kalyan Gurukul.Presently, 9 Skill Development Colleges and 28 Kalyan Gurukul Training Centers are being run by Pragya Foundation in the state. Till now more than 15,000 youth have been linked for employment in the country and abroad.
