Patna: Following the introduction of legislations by the Union government and Uttar Pradesh ,Bihar will also bring a law to prevent unfair means,leakage of question papers, cheating in examinations.
After meeting the chief minister,Nitish Kumar,his deputy Samrat Chaudhury said on Friday the anti_leakage bill will be introduced in the next month’s monsoon session of Bihar legislature.
The new legislation will provide for speedy trial in fast track courts,life term conviction and fine upto Rs ten lakhs to the accused found guilty.
Bihar has emerged as the epicenter of leakage of question papers of May 5 tests NEET  for admission in medical colleges.
The CBI   which took over the investigation of case on Wednesday today arrested two persons_Manish Prakash and Asutosh from Khemnichak at Patna.
This is first arrest made by CBI in the case.Earlier,arrests were made by the EOU of Bihar police.
Manish had facilitated help to 25 aspirants in their stay at a residential school for four days and arranged questions in advance.Asutosh had made arrangements for movement of aspirants at different   centres.
The Bureau officials took two examiness_ Chintu and Mukesh  on right days remand.They are among the six examinees arrested from Deoghar earlier.
CBI team detained three from a school at Hazaribagh in neighbouring Jharkhand.
Director and prinicipal of the school which was an examination center were detained yesterday.
So far,28 people from five states_ Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Gujarat and Maharashtra have been arrested by the Economic Offences Unit of Bihar police.
